ISANA NZ Scholarships & Awards

The ISANA NZ Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions by individuals working in New Zealand's international education industry. The awards also help to define a benchmark of excellence and best practice for the sector.

Professionalisation Award

The most common definition of ‘Professionalism’ is a social process by which any trade or occupation transforms itself into a true “profession of the highest integrity and competence.” The Professionalisation Award recognises a member of our profession who has exemplified and demonstrated this commitment to the international education profession through integrity and competence. The award will be given to a person demonstrating an innate sense of morality and ethics, as well as a desire to continue to learn and improve. They will have an unwavering commitment to a role in an international student department.

The ISANA NZ Award is to recognise an individual for quality contribution to international education in New Zealand in any of the following fields: pastoral care/student support, admissions, student exchange/study abroad, teaching, homestay/accommodation, management, etc. The nominee will show resourcefulness and an outstanding commitment to international student welfare.
